FACES AND EXPRESSIONS
The exhibition is a collection of her most important and profound portraits ever. It consists of 2 parts. In the first part we only see portraits of people from everyday life. For the second part Alice made portraits of people who were in a psychiatric institution. A journey that lives in the world of all faces. Each portrait is a mirror that tells us and learns us about the experiences of those who have stood as models.
GEZICHTEN EN UITDRUKKINGEN
De tentoonstelling is een verzameling van haar belangrijkste en diepste portretten ooit. Het bestaat uit 2 delen. In het eerste deel zien we alleen portretten van mensen uit het dagelijks leven. Voor het tweede deel maakte Alice portretten van mensen die in een psychiatrische inrichting zaten. Een reis die leeft in de wereld van alle gezichten. Elk portret is een spiegel die ons vertelt en leert over de ervaringen van degenen die als model hebben gestaan.
ECHOE`S ORCHESTRA
You can not touch the beauty of music, it has no shadow. It divides itself into a space, then it suddenly disappears and there is nothing left. Just like a musical note, when you hear it, it is immediately gone again. "Echo's Orchestra" is a tribute to the music. It is a series of bodies, with the poses of musicians, while they are playing an instrument. The instrument disappears between their hands, leaving only a kind of light on their bodies, just like the music does.
ECHOE`S ORCHESTRA
Je kunt de schoonheid van muziek niet aanraken, het heeft geen schaduw. Het verdeelt zich in een ruimte, dan verdwijnt het plotseling en is er niets meer over. Net als een muzieknoot, wanneer je het hoort, is het meteen weer weg. "Echo's Orchestra" is een eerbetoon aan de muziek. Het is een reeks lichamen, met de poses van muzikanten, terwijl ze een instrument bespelen. Het instrument verdwijnt tussen hun handen en laat alleen een soort licht op hun lichaam achter, net als de muziek.
BESTIARY
The animal kingdom always shows us the beauty of perfection in nature. Every creature, from the smallest to the largest, is fascinating to see. The color of the wings of a butterfly ... the intensity of the dark cloak of a panther. They are always fascinating for humans. In this exhibition we will collect a contemporary bestiary, a series in honor of Mother Nature.
BESTIARY
Het dierenrijk toont ons altijd de schoonheid van perfectie in de natuur. Elk wezen, van het kleinste tot het grootste, is fascinerend om te zien. De kleur van de vleugels van een vlinder ... de intensiteit van de donkere mantel van een panter. Ze zijn altijd fascinerend voor mensen. In deze tentoonstelling verzamelen we een hedendaags bestiarium, een serie ter ere van Moeder Natuur.
